Dinamarca establece Parque Eólico marino más grande del mundo

La energía eólica es la fuente de más rápido crecimiento entre las energías renovables en Europa, por lo que no es ninguna sorpresa enterarse que Dinamarca lanza el parque eólico marino más grande del mundo esta semana. Usando 91 aerogeneradores dispersos en 35 kilómetros cuadrados, la granja Horns Rev 2, construida por la empresa energética danesa Dong Energy, será capaz de producir 209 megavatios de energía - suficiente para 200.000 hogares!

Denmark Brings World’s Largest Offshore Wind Farm Online

Wind power is the fastest growing source of renewable energy in Europe, so it’s no surprise to learn that Denmark is launching the world’s biggest offshore wind farm this week. Using 91 turbines scattered across 35 square kilometers, the Horns Rev 2 farm, built by Danish utility company Dong Energy, will be able to produce 209 megawatts of power – enough for a staggering 200,000 homes.
