Hotel remodelado revive pasado en un futuro verde

Recuperar, restaurar y reutilizar. Ese fue el lema empleado por Portugal, basada en el equipo de arquitectura Ezzo, dirigido por César Machado Moreira, en el diseño de Paço de Pombeiro,un hotel rural del siglo XX de Felgueiras, Portugal. El hotel está situado en 24 acres de tierras agrícolas que se utilizan principalmente como viñedos, y había edificios existentes del siglo XVI. Los arquitectos querían revivir la vieja estructura, por lo que el hotel está diseñado para complementar y mejorar las características de las estructuras existentes - y proporcionar espacio y servicios para un máximo de 22 y una piscina al aire libre.

Recover, restore, and reuse.  That was the mantra employed by Portugal-based architecture team Ezzo, led by César Machado Moreira, in designing Paço De Pombeiro, a twentieth-century rural hotel in Felgueiras, Portugal. The hotel is located on 24-acres of farmland which are primarily used as vineyards, and had existing sixteenth-century buildings. The architects wanted to revive the old structure, so they designed the hotel to complement and enhance the characteristics of the existing structures — and provide space and amenities for up to 22 guests and an outdoor swimming pool.
