Green Lighthouse: el primer edificio público carbono neutral en Dinamarca

Ya el año pasado se comentó sobre el inicio de la construcción de Green Lighthouse (Faro Verde), un emocionante edificio carbono neutral en la Universidad de Copenhague en Dinamarca. Diseñado por Christensen & Co, el diseño como reloj de sol es una impresionante estructura que recientemente se terminó, por lo que es la primera construcción pública carbono neutral en Dinamarca! El centro de servicios estudiantiles se destacará durante la Conferencia de la ONU sobre cambio climático (COP 15) en diciembre, donde servirá como prueba de que los edificios de carbono neutral son posibles con buen diseño y la planificación. De hecho, 75% de las reducciones de energía alcanzados fueron consecuencia directa del diseño arquitectónico no de tecnologías avanzada.

Green Lighthouse: Denmark’s First Public Carbon Neutral Building Completed

Last year, we wrote about the groundbreaking of the Green Lighthouse, an exciting carbon-neutral building located at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark. Designed by Christensen & Co, the spectacular sundial-shaped structure was recently completed, making it the first public carbon neutral building in Denmark! The student services center will be showcased during the UN Climate Conference (COP15) this December, where it will serve as proof that carbon neutral buildings are possible with good design and planning. In fact, 75% of the energy reductions achieved were a direct consequence of architectural design, not fancy technology.
