70F Architecture’s Sheep Stable/Petting Farm was named the ‘World’s Best Pleasure Building’ at 2008’s World Architecture Festival Awards for “relat(ing) architecture and nature, both inside and out.” The building’s open facade allows for wind to continuously ventilate the entire farm, and its shutters open and close with the rising and setting sun, as if the structure itself ‘wakes up and goes to sleep everyday.’ This gorgeous petting farm in the Netherlands offers local families a chance to indulge in the beauty of nature and design in one setting.
